Welcome to Lifeprints
What's happening now . . .
The menu on the right side of this page directs you to information about Lifeprints, The Studio at Blue Heron House, the Labyrinth, and links to other interesting art-word sites around the country. You can visit Checking In, a log for my messages to you and for journal prompts. You can see the current Workshop and class schedule, and register online to insure your space. You can pay for fees or deposits by PayPal right on my site, or by check if you'd prefer (snail mail, of course). Quotes will offer thoughts and words of wisdom from well-known (and perhaps less-well-known) artists and writers, sometimes accompanied by a writing prompt as well. Testimonials will give you some comments from past students and clients, though I haven't had a chance to input much of the stack of class evaluations from the past many years at this point! Links will direct you to other websites that have fun and/or valuable information about writing and/or art-making opportunities, as well as businesses which support our creative efforts..
And as our website develops, you may have the ability to post to this site as well. You can register for classes on-line, respond to the writing prompts or quotes in your own journals, come out and visit the studio or walk the labyrinth. And of course you can always communicate with me by e-mail, snail mail or by phone.
I continue to add new dates for the various workshops I offer, though some are only scheduled in the Winter "semester" and others can be scheduled throughout the year, based on my timetable and your interest. Go to Workshops and check out days and times to see what will fit your schedule. There are a baker's dozen different titles and if you do not see specific dates for a workshop you are interested in, please click on "request info" to contact me, and I will add your name to others' who want that class. We will then plan a schedule that works for everyone.
NOTE: If you are interested in traveling to Italy with like-minded women, please contact me for more information. These trips are mostly for simple pleasure, but there is usually a small writing component in them as well, for those who want to participate in that aspect of travel.
Please let me know if you have questions or comments about the site or
the course offerings. We try to make the links easy to access, and
registration should be a simple thing.
There are a few short one-time offerings so you can get your feet wet. Newcomer or long-time participant . . . you are all welcome.
I hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
Joannah L. Merriman, M.A.
